Leanne de Muijnck has spent her 30-year career in the cocoa, chocolate, and confectionery industry. She has held a number of technical and R&D functions, both in Europe and in the USA. She has a Masters Degree in Food Science from the Agricultural University in Wageningen, The Netherlands. In 2014 she joined Barry Callebaut, and currently holds the position of Director Global R&D Cocoa. She has a keen interest in continuously exploring the potential of the cocoa bean. Within Barry Callebaut she works very closely with the MarketingTeam, and together they combine consumer insights and technical insights, and translate these is into product solutions.
