Constantin Drapatz recently took over the leadership of Ingredion´s clean-label product portfolio of Clean & Simple food ingredients.
In this role he and his team, align Ingredion´s business to the emerging trends and customer needs, by translating consumer interests and manufacturer needs into actual ingredient solutions that are preferred by the consumer.
The team also develops market communication, train the Go-To-Market teams on new products and hosts webinars and speeches at key industry events.
Constantin holds a BSc in Nutrition from the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany, with 9+years’ experience in the food and beverage industries in EMEA.
He joined Ingredion in 2010, as an application specialist in dairy, developing starch solutions for this market.
During the 2years in Ingredion´s European head-quarter, he also led analytical capabilities in applications in rheology and microscopy.
In 2013, he relocated to South Africa, supporting Southern African customers in NPD and reformulation projects across all applications.
He supported the specialty starch growth in East and Southern Africa.
In 2015 he got promoted to Business Development Manager Africa, looking to grow the business across Africa in new markets and applications.
Constantin has strong consumer and customer insights in Africa, combined with a strong expertise in developing solutions that are successful in the market.
